With the predecessor of the Honors Program, SouthStar Management Institute under Duy Tan University was born with the mission of training and managing excellent students studying 4 majors: Business Management, Marketing & Strategic Management, Financial Management, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management. The goal of SouthStar Management Institute is to train generations of qualified students according to international standards, confidently entering the global labor market. Therefore, students pursuing degrees at SouthStar Management Institute only have good professional knowledge but also have good English skills, equipped with many soft skills, especially the ability to think critically, independent creativity, and strategic vision.

Currently, Duy Tan University has been implementing many prestigious and quality training programs, meeting the needs of learners and ensuring the strict standards of society on the labor market. So, when studying at SouthStar Management Institute, students not only study and mate with other students who have a high entrance exam score, they can also enjoy a training program with features such as:
 

• The curriculum is built on the basis of the international education system, in order to create conditions for students to develop comprehensively in terms of knowledge, skills, ethics and foreign language proficiency;

With such an international standard training program, every year SouthStar Management Institute receives a large number of excellent students enrolling into the Institute and this number increases year by year. Not only students from all over the country converge on SouthStar Management Institute , but also many international students from Laos, Cambodia, the UK, the Philippines, etc. have also applied and study at the Institute. Currently, the Program has nearly 60 international students out of a total of 800 students studying majors managed by SouthStar Management Institute.

 
In charge of lecturing and training at SouthStar Management Institute is a team of highly qualified and experienced lecturers who graduated from leading universities both in Vietnam and abroad. In addition, every year, the Institute also invites lecturers, experts and professors from many prestigious universities in the US, UK, India, Korea, etc. to teach and share experiences for students.

 

Simultaneously, SouthStar Management Institute also focuses and promotes international cooperation activities to provide students with opportunities for cultural exchange and connection with friends across five continents. One of the international cooperation programs of SouthStar Management Institute is Passage to ASEAN  (P2A) in cooperation with universities in the region such as Rangsit University (Thailand), Norton University (Cambodia), Lao National University, and Myanmar Computer Institute. Within the framework of P2A, NSouthStar Management Institute organized exchanges for students at universities in ASEAN, and held an annual P2A event at Duy Tan University with the participation of students from the ASEAN region.

Besides training and international cooperation, scientific research activities of SouthStar Management Institute are equally exciting. We have more than 40 articles published in scientific journals recognized by the ISI Institute for Scientific Information.
 
In the coming time, SouthStar Management Institute will continue to perform management and training work to provide qualified, skillful, confident, and courage human resources to labor market in the right field; create conditions to support students to participate in scientific research or attend conferences or competitions in Vietnam and abroad.
