The SouthStar Management Institute (SMi) was established with the aim of nurturing gifted and talented students in Vietnam. The admission process at Duy Tan University follows the college admission regulations of the Ministry of Education & Training of Vietnam (MoET) as well as the admission requirements of Duy Tan University. It should be noted that the college admission regulations of Vietnam can be revised from one year to another. All Duy Tan University (DTU)’s Management Information System (MIS) freshman students are admitted and enrolled in the Undergraduate University Level (UUL) and the SouthStar Management Institute (SMi).

Students can enroll at SouthStar Management Institute in one of the four ways below:

1. Directly admitted according to the current enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and DTU's enrollment scheme;

• Won International Olympic Contest. 
• Won the First, Second, Third, and Consolation prizes in the national competition for excellent students, in the Science and Technology Competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training
• Won the First, Second, Third, and Consolation prizes in the ASEAN regional skills contests and international skills competitions.
• Participated in the weekly round in the "Road to Olympia" contest on Vietnam Television.
• Foreign candidates who graduated from high school or equivalent. 

 

2. Passing the National University Entrance Examination held by the Ministry of Education & Training of Vietnam: 21 out of 30 grade points

• English grade: >=6.5 points or IELTS band: >=4.5

 

3. Evaluate through high school academic transcript  in one of the following two ways:

• based on the academic results of the 11th grade and the 1st semester of the 12th grade;

• based on results learning files of the 12th grade.

• English grade: >=6.5 points or IELTS band: >=4.5

 

Admission Procedure

1. For the method of admission based on the results of the National University Entrance Examination: Comply with the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training

 

2. For the admission method based on the high school academic transcription:

Step 1: Candidates receive the application form from the University's website (http://tuyensinh.duytan.edu.vn)

 

Step 2: Candidates submit required ocuments to register for admission by post or directly at the Admission Center of the University, including:

• Application form;
• Copy of high school diploma or copy of provisional high school graduation certificate;
• Copy of high school transcript.

 

Step 3: Wait to get the offer letter from the University.

 

Step 4: On-site enrol at the University campus to complete admission procedures (254 Nguyen Van Linh Campus, Danang, Vietnam).

 

Important Dates

1. Direct admission method: Receive applications from the date of announcement to June 30, 2023.

 

2. For the method of admission based on the results of the National University Entrance Examination: Comply with the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training

 

3. For the admission method based on the high school academic transcription: Admission Center of the University on:

- Phase 1: until 17:00 on 12/06/2023;

- Phase 2: From 14/06 to 17h00 on 04/07/2023
