LIFELONG LEARNING SCHOLARSHIP FOR UNDERGRADUATE, MASTER, AND DOCTORAL STUDY


Duy Tan University has issued 197 FULL scholarships for students who continue study from undergraduate to master's and doctoral levels with a total value of more than 46 billion for the enrollment period in 2023.

+ Conditions for receiving scholarships

  1. The scholarship is considered and granted to candidates who have a total score of 3 subjects from the high school graduation exam in 2023 (without priority points) and achieve 26 points or more or win the first, second and third prizes in the exam select national excellent students or a science and technology contest organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, have graduated from high school, accompanied by high school transcripts for 3 consecutive years with excellent and good conduct.
  2. Scholarships are considered for the right majors or industries close to the fields in which the university is training at the Master's and Doctoral level.
  3. The list is reviewed in order of priority for submission of registration documents of each Admission period and the number of scholarships is guaranteed according to regulations.
  4. Scholarships are only granted during the official course, candidates who enter late will not receive the scholarship.
  5. The scholarship is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
  6. If a candidate changes to an industry that is not on the list of training majors from university to doctoral level, this policy will not be applied.
  7. If a candidate meets the requirements of many scholarship criteria, they will be selected with the highest level of scholarship.

+ To maintain the scholarship over the years, as well as continue to receive the scholarship to train up to the Master's and Doctoral level. Students/students/doctoral students who are awarded the scholarship need to meet the following conditions:

a) At university level:

To maintain the scholarship over the years, students need to ensure the annual grade point average (GPA): 3.4 / 4.0

b) At the Master's level:

Students must ensure the training progress, all the modules in the school year are achieved; The cumulative GPA of the school year is from 3.2/4.0 and there are articles relevant to the field of study published in a journal in the list of journals scored by the State Council for Professor Title.

c) At the PhD level:

The PhD student is the main author (lead author or contact author) who publishes at least 01 article in the ISI journal list from Q3 or higher for the field of natural science and engineering or in the list of ISI journals. Scopus from Q4 or higher for the field of humanities and social sciences within 3 years from the date of recognition of the PhD student.

+ Conditions of Binding and Compensation

a) Scholarship recipients who drop out or transfer schools in year 1 or at the beginning of year 2 must compensate the school for the first year's tuition fee.

b) For Graduate Students

- Will be retained by the university as a research or teaching staff and commit to work for at least 3 years after graduating from the Master's training program.

- If you drop out in year 1 or at the beginning of year 2, you must compensate the school for the first year's tuition fee.

c) For PhD students

- Will be retained by the university as a research or teaching staff and commit to work for at least 5 years after graduating from the doctoral training program.

- During the period of study and research, if you drop out halfway, you must compensate the school for the tuition fee of the whole course and the funding for training at the Master's level.
