Office Tours at Wooribank - Danang Brach with SMI Students

On 9th and 10th of April, 2024; a group of 60 junior students majoring in Business Administration and Financial Management from SouthStar Management - Duy Tan University experienced OFFICE TOURS at Woori Bank - Da Nang Branch. This is an opportunity for students to shorten the gap between theory and practice and closely look at their future working environment.

The tour began with an introduction session from Wooribank. Through it, students could get to know about the organizational structures, different products and services provided, as well as a typical working day of a bank staff.

Specially, the management board of Wooribank, Mr.Yun Ki Jun - Branch Director and Ms.Tran Thi Bich Van - Department Head, shared useful information with students about a more realistic view of job requirements, challenges, and international corporate culture. Thereby, students could identify goals and build for themselves a clear career plan for the future.

Here, students were also provided with the latest information about opportunities to become an intern at Wooribank - Danang Branch. From there, they could be able to make proper preparation for the application.

After the tour, student Nguyen Viet Trong Nghia - class HPQTC 29 shared: "I am interested in the business tours like this. Because we are students, especially first-year students, we are still very confused and have very few opportunities to interact with the corporate environment. Therefore, after each visit, I can learn about recent changes in knowledge and skills requirements to update myself accordingly. I can be also aware of the working process and business culture. I hope SMI will have many practical sessions like this so that we can experience and interact with businesses."

It is believed that through this visit, students could have new perspectives on many aspects beyond the professional knowledge they have learned in textbooks and classrooms.
